BevyLabs won Gold at IPITEx 2019

Every year in “Thailand Inventors’ Day”, an international pavilion is set up for exhibiting the potential and interesting invention and innovation of international inventors/innovators. This year 2019 it was known as “2019 Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition” (IPITEx 2019), which was held in Thailand, on their Inventors’ Day during 2 – 6 February 2019. The objective of this event was to improve, develop and create the collaboration between Thai inventors and International inventors. This year, there were 443 inventions from 25 countries at IPITEx 2019.

For this event, Buddhika P. De Silva from Department of Computer Science and Technology participated representing a student group called BevyLabs from Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka. Comparing the inventions/products of team BevyLabs, Judges were more impressed about the application of “Questions generating platform with machine learning” which is an improved version of Note Review mobile application. At the end of the evaluations Team BevyLabs from Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka has been awarded IPITEx Gold Medal and a Special award from Indian Innovators Association at Bangkok International Intellectual Property Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition on 6^th Feb 2019.”
