Virtual Career Fair – 2022
The virtual career fair – 2022 organized by the Department of Computer Science and Informatics in collaboration with the Career Guidance Unit, Faculty of Applied Sciences was successfully conducted on 3rd and 4th of March 2022.
Prof. H.M.J.C. Pitawala; Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Dr. J. T. Cooray; Coordinator, Career Guidance Unit, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Ms S.D.H.S. Wickramarathne; Head, Department of Computer Science and Informatics, and invited guests from the IT industries graced the opening ceremony.
Ms S.D.H.S. Wickramarathne; Head, Department of Computer Science and Informatics, delivered the welcome speech by describing the aim and objectives of the career fair. Next, the gathering was addressed by Prof. H.M.J.C. Pitawala, Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Uva Wellassa University, mentioning the importance of conducting such a career fair in the university. The opening ceremony was concluded by giving stage to the registered companies to conduct their interviews.
