Hostel and Accommodation Facilities and Cafeteria

Find your new home in our student accommodation. We have options to live close to campuses or in the city center, and rooms to suit your lifestyle. The Uva Wellassa University provides outstanding hostel facilities for all the first year, third year and fourth year undergraduates upon their requests. Necessary facilities are available for the students at these hostels along with 24 hour security. Restaurant facilities are provided for all staff and students at two cafeterias situated within the University premises. Service and food are of a high quality and the prices are at fixed price approved by the University.

Mentoring and Counselling Services

Mentoring programs are available to help develop a supportive and effective learning community at the University. Mentoring gives new students the opportunity to meet peers and build networks, learn about student life and settle in to the University. Mentoring process starts by introducing mentors to the students during the integration programme and remains as the mentor until the graduation of the student. Students are encouraged to meet their mentors regularly to get the guidance in their academic life.
